Truck Driver
Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and heavy equipment vehicles.
- Transport materials, goods, or equipment to and from specified locations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or cranes.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role.
- Knowledge of truck maintenance and repair procedures.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts or cranes.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo.
