Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Office. E-learning (online learning). Tasks: Establish client insurance coverage. Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries. Provide customer service. Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft and other types of insurance. Review quotations. Review individual and group applications for insurance. Perform administrative tasks. Manage accounts receivable. Manage difficult situations with customers. Describe points of interest, answer questions and supply information. Document work completed. Work with on-line accounts and systems. Identify customers' needs . Develop specific plans to prioritize. Supervision: No supervision responsibility. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Membership in the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada.
