*What we offer* VIDA Dermatology is busy growing dermatology clinic with 2 locations (South and West Edmonton) designed for maximum efficiency and a team-based workflow. We are a 100% Dermatologist owned practice and are not affiliated with private equity ownership. Each Dermatologist at VIDA will have: · A well-trained team of dedicated nurses and office assistants to optimize clinic workflow and patient care · Several exam rooms and surgical/procedural rooms to support your clinic · Access to light based patient technologies (phototherapy and photodynamic therapy) options · Ability to be involved in several ongoing dermatologic trials (affiliated with Probity Medical Research) in atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa and many more! · Access to a full scope of cosmetic injectables, lasers and additional aesthetic treatments to support your practice · Well trained clinic support staff dealing with your daily scheduling, referrals, human resources and billing reconcilliation · Scribes for EMR charting · Marketing Support and Advertising · *Additional opportunities for the position may include medical director position and equity stake in the company* · And so much more! If this is appealing to you, then VIDA Dermatology is the place for you! *Role Overview* The primary function of the dermatologist is to provide continued, specialized care to patients with skin related concerns. The Dermatologist?s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Provide expert medical care for patients with skin concerns referred to the clinic · Perform patient history and physical exams, diagnosis and implementation of treatment plans · Provide consult notes to referring family physicians for new patients · Perform follow-up care for existing patients · Work closely with nursing team to be able to provide effective patient care · Utilize exceptional communication skills to build relationships with both patients and employees · Training and professional growth opportunities · Work with marketing team to build and promote social media/other media platform presence · Potential opportunities growth/ownership within the company *Role Qualifications* · Current College of Physicians of Alberta (CPSA) License · Enjoy working in medical, surgical and/or aesthetic dermatology · Newer graduates welcome to apply Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Education: * Bachelor's Degree (required) Licence/Certification: * CPSA licence (or willing to get CPSA license)?
