The Intermediate Accountant also assists the Accounting Lead in the month-end functions. This position requires immediate Controlled Goods clearance, therefore, only Canadian Residents or Permanent Residents will be considered at this timeMajor Responsibilities & Duties Strive to consistently act in a manner, which reflects the Company's culture and values. Perform general accounting duties and functions accurately, independently and in accordance with Cascade Aerospace policies and procedures. Assist in month-end financial accounting procedures and reconciliations in accordance with the Company's financial department policies and procedures. Keep the finance team on track with month-end timeline. Conduct GL reconciliations. Prepare month-end journal entries and working papers. Prepare governmental remittances for PST, GST, QST and payroll taxes. Maintain Capital Spend spreadsheets on monthly basis. Run monthly Capture. Review & Process company AMEX/Visa Statements. Provide Financial and Costing Analysis. Support in the preparation of the monthly financial statements and the package.
