Education: College/CEGEP. Architectural technology/technician. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Office. Industrial construction. Residential construction. Commercial and/or industrial construction. Budgetary responsibility: $100,001 - $500,000. $500,001 - $1,500,000. $1,500,001 - $4,000,000. Tasks: Coordinate subcontractors activities . Evaluate daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates. Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors. Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements. Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control. Operate CADD and other computer software systems. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Develop and implement quality control programs. Develop risk management plans. Oversee the analysis of data and information. Prepare reports. Understand the purpose, proper usgage and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS). Organise day-to-day business operations. Maintain inventory of equipment. Maintain progress and other reports. Direct quality control inspections. Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Working at heights training. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. MS Outlook. MS Word. SharePoint. Autodesk REVIT. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Area of specialization: Project management. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
