Responsibilities
Tasks

Prepare reports or case histories

Administrative and office activities

Assess offenders' prospects for successful reintegration into the community

Implement life skills workshops

Plan rehabilitation programs with offenders

Supervise terms of probation orders

Advise and counsel inmates regarding their problems

Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs

Evaluate offenders' progress

Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community

Housekeeping activities

Food preparation

Provide suicide and crisis intervention

Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses

Supervise children's visits with parents to ensure their safety

Conduct individual and group counselling sessions

Assist clients/guests with special needs
