Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Collect data to identify areas for improvement within an organization's IT infrastructure. Develop and maintain computer databases. Document customers' requirements for projects. Document reporting needs, queries, logic, results and recommendations to other information systems professionals. Provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding database management tools. Setup the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases.
