*Job Summary*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees, and maintaining payroll records. This role requires proficiency in data entry, familiarity with accounting software, and a strong understanding of payroll systems. The Payroll Clerk will work closely with the Human Resources department to support employee inquiries related to payroll.
*Responsibilities*
* Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
* Perform data entry tasks related to employee hours, deductions, and bonuses.
* Utilize accounting software such as Workday, UltiPro, or Ceridian for payroll processing.
* Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions and employee accounts.
* Assist in accounts payable functions as needed.
* Analyze payroll data for discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
* Collaborate with the Human Resources team to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
* Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in payroll processing or related field.
* Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
* Familiarity with accounting software; experience with Workday, UltiPro, or Ceridian is a plus.
* Knowledge of accounts payable processes is beneficial.
* Basic understanding of human resources practices related to payroll management.
* Excellent analytical skills to assess and resolve payroll discrepancies.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
