We are a fast-growing, agile company that values integrity, craftsmanship, and innovation. As we expand our portfolio of exclusive projects, we are seeking a motivated and detail-driven *Project Manager* to join our dynamic team.
*Objective*
The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle of high-end, single-family infill homes. This includes managing construction schedules, budgets, contractors, and client relationships to ensure exceptional project delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, design-focused environment and is passionate about residential construction.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Lead all aspects of construction from permits and excavation through to final occupancy
* Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and critical paths for each build
* Coordinate with architects, consultants, trades, and city officials throughout the construction process
* Procure and negotiate trade contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and adherence to schedule
* Manage construction documentation including change orders, RFIs, deficiency lists, and inspections
* Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout construction
* Identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues in real time to avoid delays
* Prepare and review progress reports, cost updates, and performance metrics
* Ensure all builds meet Sinova?s quality standards and local code requirements
*Qualifications*
* 3+ years experience in residential construction project management (custom or infill preferred)
* Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field an asset
* Strong knowledge of Alberta Building Code, permit processes, and infill challenges
* Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and resolve problems independently
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Word); experience with Buildertrend or equivalent software is an asset
* Valid Class 5 Driver?s License and own vehicle required
*Preferred Skills*
* Understanding of design-build workflows, estimating, and construction sequencing
* Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings
* Skilled at maintaining strong relationships with trades, suppliers, and city inspectors
* High attention to detail, accountability, and a solution-oriented mindset
* Leadership experience with the ability to direct site supervisors and coordinate with office staff
