Raincity Installations is one of the largest cabinet installations companies in the Lower Mainland. We install kitchen and vanity cabinets on various new high rise towers. We are looking to hire a deficiency carpenter to carry out adjustments and repairs when the kitchens and vanities are installed.
*Duties:*
The role of the Deficiency carpenter is to adjust doors and cabinets where required, this includes installing handles, toe kicks and install missing items and repairs.
*Key responsibilities include:*
Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications
Able to work from a list and work to deadlines
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Reliable and available to work Monday - Friday from 7am - 3.30pm
May be required to visit different towers when required, so having a vehicle would be ideal but not mandatory. Most jobs are in Richmond, North Vancouver and Burnaby and are near public transit routes.
*Experience required:*
At least 1-2 years finishing carpentry experience required, ideally working with cabinets
Must have an eye for detail and be a creative thinker
