Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Evaluate daily operations . Monitor department's performance. Plan and organize daily operations. Plan for changes to schedules and policies. Prepare reports for senior management. Supervise staff. Manage finances or budget. Arrange for shipping documentation and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit. Ensure transport compliance with regulations. Negotiate for services and preferential rates. Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods. Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue. Organize and maintain inventory. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Supervision: 3-4 people. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Green job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.- LocationNanaimo, BC
