*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position involves working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care, manage medication therapy, and educate patients about their prescriptions. \*\* We are looking for a pharmacist to work on Saturdays Only \*\* *Responsibilities* * Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy. * Dispense medications accurately while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements. * Provide medication administration support and guidance to healthcare staff. * Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions. * Collaborate with medical teams in acute care settings, including pediatrics and hospital environments, to optimize patient outcomes. * Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medication administration, and patient interactions. * Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and advancements in pharmaceutical care. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services. *Skills* * Proficient in medication administration techniques and practices. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmacology and patient care. * Experience in acute care settings, particularly within pediatrics or hospital environments. * Excellent communication skills for effective patient counseling and collaboration with healthcare teams. * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety in medication management. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
