The Clinical Psychologist III will design, develop, implement and evaluate group therapy/treatment programs; conduct psychological assessment to conceptualize and diagnose using DSM-5-TR; and provide intervention for clients referred to the program, in close consultation with the interdisciplinary team (Social Worker, Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Dietitian, and Pediatrician). Brief individual therapy will be required when appropriate. The psychologist in the program will be expected to conduct research/evaluation. The psychologist will also be required to attend traveling clinics. They will be an active member of committees for policy development, as needed, and will be involved with health promotion activities in partnership with other organizations. Some flexibility in work hours is required as team programming occasionally takes place during the evening. The Clinical Psychologist provides supervision to Psychology residents, doctoral students and provisionally registered Psychologists.This position reports to the Division Manager for Children?s and Women?s Health, and maintains accountability to the Clinical Psychologist Professional Practice Consultant for integrity and professional practice issues.
