Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Construction/heavy equipment/earthmoving equipment operation. Work setting: Municipal government. Tasks: Clean and maintain sidewalks, streets, roads and public grounds. Spread sand or salt on sidewalks for snow or ice control. Dig ditches and trenches. Collect and load refuse on garbage trucks. Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment. Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment. Sweep debris and remove snow from streets, sidewalks, building grounds and other areas, and load snow and debris into carts or trucks. Type of heavy equipment operated: Backhoe excavator, loader. Truck or equipment experience: Sanding truck. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Dependability. Team player. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you available for the advertised start date?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?. Experience: Experience an asset.- LocationComfort Cove-Newstead, NL
