Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Private recreational organization. Tasks: Coordinate competitive programs . Develop well planned competitive schedules and programs . Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions. Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games. Participate in coaching clinic instruction. Analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance. Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance. Supervise staff or team. Select and purchase equipment and supplies. Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses. Leading/instructing groups. Develop and manage programs and services. Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques. Conduct safety training programs. Coaching. Assist with coordination of recreational, sport and fitness events . Maintain and repair sports equipment. Leading/instructing individuals. Provide technical and professional advice. Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities. Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required. Participate in provincial and/or national competitions and sporting events. Participate in local and regional competitions and sporting events.
