We think about the customer and make doing business with McCain easy.   We are currently seeking general production operators in our Carberry, MB plant.  Duties/Responsibilities:Follow good manufacturing practicesAssist in driving continuous improvement in the production facilityMeasure and report equipment settingsComplete and apply all aspects of Operator Asset Care (O.A.C.) in the work areaCleaning and inspection line checklistsMeet or exceed required sanitation standard for work area: including scraping scales, sweeping floor, emptying damaged bags of product to waste barrelsOperate equipment in a manner to produce high quality products and report any equipment problems to supervisionEnsure timely, accurate records are maintainedCheck and record information and input into computerClean-up/shut down duties: including deep cleaning on specific lines, sweeping, air hosing, chemical use, high pressure hosingPerform other duties as assigned by supervision Requirements:Push/pull such as rolls of poly, high pressure hoses, garbage containers, vacuum, pallets and casesLifting weight approximately 25 – 44 lbs., up to heights of 6 ft.Stair/ladder climbing as requiredBending, crouchingStanding for extended periodsContinuous walking About McCain.At McCain, we’re feeding the world: from French fries to cakes, we contribute to the important role food plays in people's lives.
