Duties
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints to understand project specifications
- Operate tools and machinery including grinders, drill presses, and saws to assist in the fabrication process
- Utilize cranes and other mechanically assisted lifting devices to move materials and complete projects efficiently
- Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet company and industry standards
Qualifications
- Proficiency in fitting, welding, and assembling metal parts
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Experience using cranes, power tools, and measuring devices
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship in welding projects
This job requires CWB all position stick and wire. If candidate doesn't have these tickets, they will need to be able to pass these tests.
