Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Perform other duties related to personal care. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs. Administer first aid in emergency situations. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training. CPR Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Personal suitability: Client focus.
