Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: All weather conditions. Work setting: Various locations. Hotel, motel, resort. Tasks: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Perform safety and security checks. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Equipment: Power tools. Security system. Small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments). Swimming pool maintenance and cleaning equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Initiative. Judgement. Organized. Reliability. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
