*Job Description*
The Boulevard Restaurant & Lounge in Red Deer, Alberta is looking for a Part-Time/Full-Time Line Cook.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to improve their culinary skills and work in a fast-paced environment.
You must have reliable transportation as there isn't public transportation to this location at this time.
*Responsibilities:*
* Ideal candidate will have experience cooking on line as well as prep and banquet experience
* Candidate must be able to work weekends and holidays, but not all
* Replenishing line when necessary
* Prepare proper food quantities based on forecasted occupancy
* Understand and adhere to the company?s policies and procedures, cooking methods, portion sizes, and quality standards
* Ensure work station area is kept clean and organized, following safety/sanitation policies and processes of the company
* Monitor the quality and consistency of all food
* Assist with other kitchen operations as needed and directed
* Maintain food at proper temperatures and follow standards
* Set up, restock, and maintain food preparation areas
* Prepare foods in accordance with working menus and recipes
* Have a passion for service, positive energy, being a part of a great team, and preparing great food
