Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Trucking company. Tasks: Evaluate daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Plan for changes to schedules and policies. Prepare reports for senior management. Train staff. Ensure transport compliance with regulations. Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods. Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Supervision: 11-15 people. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Green job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes. Other benefits: Free parking available.
