Tasks: Bathe and shampoo animals. Document animal behaviour. Monitor animal behaviour. Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures. Keep records of animals treated. Supervise helpers. Clean animal ears. Maintain and order supplies. Clip animal nails. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Pet first aid course. Veterinary assistant course. Type of pets groomed: All breeds of dogs. Dog training expertise: Obedience. Canine behaviour problems/modification. Animal specialization: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.). Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods.
