Prairie Mobile Communications is looking for an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk to ensure the seamless processing of outgoing shipments and incoming items. This individual will understand the impact of their role to other business functions. Responsibilities include processing all required paperwork and maintaining adequate records for reporting and tracking, prepare and schedule shipments as assigned, perform audits of the conditions of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to sign off, check and pull inventory for all service and sales orders, monitor inventory levels of stock items and communicate low levels, administer RMAs and customer returns. The right individual will excel at working as part of a team or independently as needed, and take great pride in the efficiency and accuracy of work, and organization of the warehouse. Shipping & Receiving Clerk will perform all duties while complying with all safety guidelines. This is a full-time position.
*Qualifications*
* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
* 2-3 years' related experience in shipping and receiving, inventory control, warehouse, or parts management.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
* Experience with Ormandy is an asset but not required.
* Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
* Basic mathematical skills.
* Valid driver's license and good driving record, in order to travel within city to pick up or drop off inventory orders as required.
* Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments.
* Ability to weigh and measure items.
* Working knowledge of safe packing methods.
* Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
* Attention to detail in all areas of work.
* Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
* Transportation of Dangerous Goods and WHMIS certification is an asset.
