The Chesterfield is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join the team. Wage based on experience and ability + hourly tip out.
*Skill and Experience Requirements:*
* Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and cooking.
* Ensure consistency and quality by supervising kitchen staff and ensuring dishes are prepared to our standards.
* Create and test new recipes to expand our menu offerings.
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
* Train new kitchen staff, and create a positive and productive work environment.
* Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
* Must have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
*Requirements:*
* At least 1 years cooking experience preferred
* Culinary Red Seal certificate a bonus
* Must be currently residing in Canada
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
* Night shift
* Weekends as needed
