We're seeking a talented Sheet Metal Designer to join our dynamic team and contribute to projects that shape the future of foodservice.<br><br> Job Summary:<br> The Sheet Metal Designer will be responsible for creating detailed design and fabrication drawings for custom stainless steel foodservice equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques, CAD proficiency, and a passion for custom design solutions.<br><br> Key Responsibilities:<br><br> ? Design and develop sheet metal components & assemblies for custom foodservice equipment using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).<br> ? Interpret customer specifications, architectural drawings, and engineering requirements to create accurate design solutions.<br> ? Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and functionality.<br> ? Create detailed fabrication drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and flat patterns.<br> ? Continuously refine and improve design standards and processes.<br> ? Participate in project reviews, site visits, and design validation as needed.<br><br> Qualifications:<br><br> ? Associate?s degree or higher in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field.<br> ? 3+ years of experience in sheet metal design, preferably in custom manufacturing environments.<br> ? Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other CAD software.<br> ? Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes including bending, welding, and finishing.<br> ? Experience with stainless steel preferred.<br> ? Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<br> ? Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<br><br> Preferred Skills:<br><br> ? Experience in the foodservice equipment industry or commercial kitchen layout/design.<br> ? Knowledge of industry codes and sanitation standards (NSF, UL, etc.).<br> ?
