*Job Summary*
The Butter Tart Lady / Sugar Me Cookie is seeking a digital marketing specialist to help build a strategic and personal online presence that will create an active customer community and help tell our story of how the bakery came to be and why we do what we do, while also attracting new customers and maintaining relationships with our loyal ones.
They will be working directly with our Creative Director/Operations Manager to tackle the digital presence of our bakeries. Primarily located in Gimli, the job will also require some traveling to our Winnipeg bakery, as well as occasionally visiting the various markets we attend.
This job is made possible through the Canada Summer Jobs Grant and requires the applicant to work 30-40 Hours per week. They also must be under the age of 30. Our goal is to be able to retain the Digital Marketing Specialist after the the summer given that we are mutually a good fit.

* Cultivate a strong presence on all social media platforms - provide regular website updates
* Assist with email campaigns
* Contribute to building bakery brand
* Local promotions
* Advertising for upcoming markets
* Content creation (digital design, photography, video)
* Maintaining a posting schedule

* SEO (Search engine optimization)
* Analyze campaign performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics to inform future strategies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
* Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
*Qualifications*
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other sufficient graphic design programs.
* Experience with various platforms such as WordPress, MailChimp, Square, and Shopify for website management and content updates.
* Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
* Knowledge of HTML and CSS to assist in website modifications as needed.
* Ability to conduct effective research to support marketing initiatives.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
* A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
* 2-3 years previous experience
