<p>As a senior system administrator your primary responsibility is the support and delivery of technical solutions to our managed services client base. The responsibilities include technology detail architecture / design align with BRP architecture team and the integration of project work. This position requires collaboration, teamwork, and mentorship with other team members as we work together to identify, escalate, and resolve client issues. The ability to clearly and accurately record information on newly implemented client environments to maintain our knowledge base is a core requirement. </p><p><strong>YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Design, install and configure servers according to industry best practices</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with architecture teams in developing IT solutions at the infrastructure level.</p></li><li><p>Manage Windows and Linux Servers, Active Directory Domain Services, VMware Servers, SAN storage and high availability systems.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates ability to provide required maintenance and maintain system documentation.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to system continuous improvement, operations, maintenance, and monitoring </p></li><li><p>Configure, monitor, and manage Servers, Backend Software, Backup Software, Patch Management, Anti-Virus, etc.</p></li><li><p>Participates in technical research and development to promote innovation within the backend infrastructure environment</p></li><li><p>Assists project teams in technical issues</p></li><li><p>Provides support and technical assistance to operational support staff, development teams, as well as all system users if needed.</p></li><li><p>Participate incident resolution and documentation</p></li><li><p>Other duties as requested by manager dependant on operational needs</p></li><li><p>Provide off-hours on call support for critical production systems when required</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with relevant operations teams to avoid recurrent incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing improved alerts to prevent recurrence.</p></li><li><p>As a senior role, must act as a mentor of the system administrators team. This role requires a blend of strong technical skills and leadership capabilities.</p></li></ul><p><strong>YOU?LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: </strong><br> </p><ul><li><p>Bachelor?s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.</p></li><li><p>Managing deployments/rollouts</p></li><li><p>Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft HyperV/Virtual Server</p></li><li><p>A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of SCCM management, deployment and security of devices and applications across an enterprise</p></li><li><p>Knowledge on Commvault.
