Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Supervise other workers. Estimate costs and materials. Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail.
