Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets the highest standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in creating schedules and managing labor costs
- Help create a positive and productive work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of food service and hospitality industry practices
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
