Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Private company, corporation or industry. Tasks: Design and integrate website related code. Develop website architecture. Write, modify and test website related code. Prepare mock-ups and storyboards. Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions. Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Website. Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware. Create and optimize content for Website using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software. Develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches. Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products. Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity. Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems. Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls. Resolve conflict situations. Usability testing. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Photoshop. Corel Draw. Networking security. Internet. Java. JavaScript.
