*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests while ensuring the efficient operation of our food service area. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and delivering high-quality food and beverage experiences. *Duties* * Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and safety standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. * Assist customers with their orders, providing information about menu items and making recommendations as needed. * Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems for processing transactions accurately. * Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service operations during peak hours. * Perform regular inventory checks and assist in restocking supplies as necessary. *Skills* * Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling practices. * Excellent guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. * Proficiency in operating POS systems and basic cashiering functions. * Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. * Ability to perform basic math calculations for accurate cash handling. * Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
