Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Co-ordinate work activities with other departments. Establish methods to meet work schedules. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Set up machines and equipment. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Set up machines. Manage contracts. Resolve conflict situations. Mountain driving expertise. Conduct quality control. Supervision: 5-10 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial sewing machine. Area of specialization: Sewing. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
