This position involves hands-on work in our vegetable fields, contributing to the planting, maintenance, and harvesting processes. Your efforts will be vital in helping us achieve our mission of delivering fresh produce to our community. *Responsibilities* * Apply fertilizers * Clean the crops * Clear fields of wood and stones * Cut agricultural crops * Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots * Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market. * Greenhouse cleaning * Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions * Hand harvesting vegetables * Level earth to fine grade specifications * Pack fruits and vegetables * Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops * Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts * Weeding * Fertilize and spray crops * Harvest crops * Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry * Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment * Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry *Requirements* _*5 years or more Experience with the crops of *_ * Bell peppers * Cucumbers * Garlic * Melons * Tomatoes * Zucchinis * Potatoes * Vegetables _*Equipment and machinery experience of *_ * Tractor * Planting equipment * Welding *Work conditions and physical capabilities* * Ability to work independently * Fast-paced environment * Repetitive tasks * Handling heavy loads * Physically demanding * Hand-eye co-ordination * Ability to distinguish between colours * Attention to detail * Standing for extended periods * Bending, crouching, kneeling * Overtime required * Combination of sitting, standing, walking * Walking Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 ? 48 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Extended health care * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Overtime * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2025-06-25
