We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. *Responsibilities*
* Perform account analysis and assist with account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
* Manage accounts payable functions, including processing invoices and ensuring timely payments.
* Utilize accounting software, such as Sage, to maintain accurate financial records and generate reports.
* Support the financial auditing process by preparing necessary documentation and assisting auditors as needed.
* Collaborate with the finance team on corporate finance tasks, providing insights into financial performance.
* Maintain organized records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
*Requirements*
* Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
* Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Sage or similar platforms.
* Strong understanding of account analysis, account reconciliation, and accounts payable processes.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* Knowledge of financial services and corporate finance principles is a plus.
* Prior experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar role is advantageous but not required.
