*Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role is perfect for individuals looking to grow their career in accounting and finance, offering exposure to essential financial processes and systems. *Responsibilities* * Perform account analysis and assist with account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. * Manage accounts payable functions, including processing invoices and ensuring timely payments. * Utilize accounting software, such as Sage, to maintain accurate financial records and generate reports. * Support the financial auditing process by preparing necessary documentation and assisting auditors as needed. * Collaborate with the finance team on corporate finance tasks, providing insights into financial performance. * Maintain organized records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. * Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports for management review. *Requirements* * Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. * Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Sage or similar platforms. * Strong understanding of account analysis, account reconciliation, and accounts payable processes. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. * Knowledge of financial services and corporate finance principles is a plus. * Prior experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar role is advantageous but not required.
