Monette Produce Ltd., a division of Monette Farms, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable *Agronomist* to join our vegetable farming operation. Based in Outlook, SK, this role plays a vital part in maximizing crop health and yield across our extensive vegetable production network, including carrots, potatoes, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, and more.
*What You?ll Do:*
* Conduct in-field agronomic scouting and monitoring of vegetables for disease, pest, weed, and environmental pressures.
* Develop crop input recommendations based on in-field observations, data trends, and agronomic best practices.
* Lead soil and tissue sampling, fertility planning, and nutrient management.
* Collaborate with farm managers on seasonal planning, crop rotation strategies, and irrigation scheduling.
* Support decisions on chemical, fertilizer, and biological inputs.
* Maintain detailed field records to support traceability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Support traceability, food safety, and sustainability reporting.
*What You Bring:*
* Degree or diploma in Agronomy, Plant Science, Agricultural Biology, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years of field experience (vegetable crop experience preferred but not required).
* A solutions-driven mindset with a passion for fieldwork and production agriculture.
* Experience with scouting, crop nutrition planning, and pest/disease management.
* Strong data analysis and digital record-keeping skills.
* Valid Class 5 driver?s license.
