Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand. Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Follow directions and read map. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Cellular phone. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills.
