Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Interpret welding process specifications. Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment. Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes. Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications. Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment. Determine weldability of materials. Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment. Area of specialization: Custom fabrication. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Organized. Team player. Hardworking. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.- LocationSurrey, BC
