<p><strong>Assignment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintenance labourer position</li> <li>Duties to commence June 2, 2025</li></ul><p><br><br></p><ul> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide own set of hand tools</li> <li>Hold a valid driver?s license</li> <li>Selected individual must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time, lift up to 50lbs and able to work in confined spaces.</li> <li>Willingness to work in a collaborative, high paced team environment </li> <li>Ability to understand and follow instructions</li> <li>Effective oral communication</li></ul><p><br><br></p><ul> </ul> <p></p> <p></p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist in the maintenance, and repair of all facilities, grounds and equipment under the care of the Facilities Department.</li> <li>Ability to operate skid steer for required snow removal. </li> <li>Identify areas requiring repairs or maintenance and, if of a minor nature, complete the required repairs or maintenance. If extensive repairs or maintenance is required, advise the Facilities Administration or appropriate co-worker.</li> <li>Recommend to the Facilities Administration procedures that may improve the operation of the Facilities Department.</li> <li>Be familiar with the service requirements of equipment and facilities under the care of the Facilities Department.</li> <li>With the prior approval of Facilities Administration purchase supplies and materials necessary in completing assigned duties.</li> <li>Be aware of safe working procedures and follow safe working procedures and practices in carrying out your assigned duties.</li> <li>Assist in the relocation of equipment and furnishings as required.</li> <li>Maintain a liaison with other departments and work in cooperation with other departments and employees.</li> <li>Conduct yourself in a manner that will promote a positive image of the Facilities Department.</li> <li>Perform other duties as may be directed by Facilities Administration or the direct job supervisor.</li></ul><p><br><br></p><ul> </ul> <p></p> <p></p> <p><strong>Employment Conditions:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Normal hours of work are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Forty (40) hour week minimum.
