*Job Description*
* Prepare products to be shipped to customers
* Ensure proper packaging.
* fill out waybills and contact freight carriers when product ready to ship.
* Assist customers and freight carriers with pick-ups and loading.
* Loading/unloading shipments using forklift.
* Verify shipments received against shipping documents.
* Receive, unpack and inspect incoming shipments for damage.
* Must be able to use industrial saws, table, sliding, bandsaw etc.
* Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting when required.
* Maintain a clean and safe warehouse.
* Other duties as required
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Ability to accurately use measuring equipment, tape measure, calipers, weigh scale, hardness tester, etc.
* Must have own transportation as we are not on a bus route.
* Strong attention to details, dependable and reliable.
* Maintain good working relationships with customers, fellow employees and management.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Basic computer skills.
* Mechanically inclined an asset.
* Have CSA steel toe safety shoes.
* Forklift certification an asset.
* Legally eligible to work in Canada
