The location in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, is seeking talent to fill the position of Project Controller. This job is full-time permanent. General Description Domtar is a major player in the fiber industry and is actively committed to innovation and sustainable growth. We are looking for a passionate and meticulous Project Controller to support the management of our strategic projects and contribute to their success. Responsibilities <ul> <li>Ensure budget tracking, cost analysis, and financial performance of projects.</li> <li>Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with project managers.</li> <li>Identify gaps between the plan and execution, propose corrective measures.</li> <li>Prepare regular reports on project progress (KPI, dashboards, etc.).</li> <li>Collaborate with finance, engineering, procurement, and project management teams.</li> <li>Ensure the application of best practices in project control and risk management.</li> </ul> Ideal Profile <ul> <li>University degree in administration, engineering, finance, or related field.</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project control or coordination.</li> <li>Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) and financial analysis tools (advanced Excel, SAP).</li> <li>Excellent analytical skills, organizational sense, and rigor.</li> <li>Good communication skills in French and English.</li> <li>Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.</li> </ul> Domtar is firmly committed to placing greater emphasis on the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion to empower all employees to reach their full potential.
