*Shipping and Receiving Clerk*

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team. As a shipping clerk, you will pay a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient shipping and receiving products. Your exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our logistics.
Responsibilities
* Manage the process of the shipping documentation and coordination, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and custom forms, accurately and in a timely manner
* Direct truck to proper dock area (if required)
* Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
* Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, inspecting packages for damage, discrepancy, or shortages
* Organize and maintain shipping and receiving areas, ensuring, cleanliness, order, and proper storage of goods
* Collaborate with office manager to ensure picking, packing and staging of products for shipments
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is preferred
* Proven experience in shipping or a similar role, with a strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures
Skills
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Ability to perform physical task, such as lifting and moving packages weighing up to a designated limit
* Flexibility to work weekends or overtime as needed to accommodate business demands

* Progression to supervisory positions is possible with experience
* Working hours; 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
