Job details
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Operations management and supervision. Tourism and travel services management. History, other. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Establish work schedules and procedures. Perform same duties as workers supervised. Prepare and submit reports. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Supervise support staff. Prepare reports. Assist in the research, handling and storage of artifacts. Protect and care for cultural artifacts and collections during exhibitions, while in transit and in storage. Conduct guided tours of museums, gallery exhibitions and historical, heritage and other sites, answer inquiries and provide information. Supervision: 3-4 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Dependability. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Initiative. Interpersonal awareness. Organized. Team player.
