*Job Description*
Toonie Tours is currently looking for Tour Guides to join our team and represent their local community in *Edmonton, Alberta*.
This position is for a freelance, contractor position and experience in a similar role is preferred. We are primarily hiring people who are available to work part-time or full-time, and often on weekends. The primary responsibility for this position is to lead a group of 5?30 customers on a highly entertaining and engaging tour of your community.

*Roles & Responsibilities*
* *Creative* ? Learn, research, design, and personalize tours and stories to be authentically presented.
* *Leadership* ? Meet, welcome, and lead tour groups of 5?30 customers.
* *Customer-Service* ? Provide local recommendations and tips for out-of-town travelers, and customers less familiar with your community.
* *Be the local Toonie Tours Expert* ? Represent Toonie Tours, your community, and tour guides in general to the public. You are actively involved in your community and have that wanderlust spirit.
* *Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.*

* *Communicative and Social* ? Strong verbal communication skills, ability to present and speak loudly, personable, and approachable. We are looking for fluent English-speaking Tour Leaders and welcome additional languages (French, Spanish, German) to join our offerings.
* *Entertaining and Positive* ? Exceptional story-telling skills, capture the attention of the group, and has a great sense of humor.
* *Self-driven / Self-starter / High Performer* ? Works well in a performance-based compensation model. Is recommendable and commands 5-star reviews.
* *Flexible & Confident* ? Adapts well to varying circumstances as the group needs change with the always-changing outdoor environment.
* *Punctual* ? Shows up early for every tour, without fail.
* *Physically fit* ? (can manage 5 km of walking in 3 hours, while speaking and presenting)
* *Legally authorized to work in Canada*
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Freelance
Pay: $15.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 ? 44 per week
