We are looking for an experienced developer who has knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server and web?based application development. Additional experience with AWS, REST APIs, Entity Framework, ReactiveX, web applications and cloud hosted applications will be a definite asset. Familiarity with Tableau also an asset.
Candidates should have some or all of the following qualifications:
* Diploma or Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* 5+ years experience in a Windows web based, enterprise?level commercial software development environment
* C# ASP.NET Core experience is required
* SQL Server experience will be a definite asset
* Experience with ASP.Net, Entity Framework, web services, AWS, JavaScript, jQuery, and cloud hosted applications and services will be a definite asset
* Knowledge of unit test frameworks and Test Driven Development is very desirable
* Experience with Agile processes, source control and collaboration tools e.g. Slack, Trello, Git
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Strong initiative ? must be able to work with a minimum of supervision
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Work well in a team environment with good written and spoken communication skills
* Willing to ask for help when needed, as well as freely offer help to others
* Proactively identify risks and evaluate design choices to understand technical debt
* Contribute to technical innovation
