La Brezza Restaurant is a iconic Italian restaurant located in the heart of Bridgeland, Calgary and we?re looking for a young talented *Sous Chef* to join our dynamic kitchen team.

*Start Date:* As soon as possible
*Status:* Canadian Citizen, Permanent resident, or valid work permit (minimum 1 year) required
*Experience:* Previous experience (*min. 2 year*) is required and culinary education is an asset.
*Education:* Completion of high school or previous work experience in a professional kitchen
*Credentials:* Red Seal certification or apprenticeship program (important but not required)
*Essential Skills:* Speak English, Read English, Write English, Reading text.
- ensures consistent quality and presentation of menus and ingredients, including constantly inspecting taste, temperature, portion sizes and visual appearance.
- Ensures workspace is cleaned and organized
- Responsibility for daily back of house operations including prep lists, weekly inventory management, wastage management.
- Ensures appropriate health and safety standards in kitchen
- Excellent time management abilities and advanced knowledge of culinary
- Proven work experience as a chef or cook (Hands on experience with various kitchen equipment (grillers, pasta, etc.)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 ? 40 per week
