Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Hospital or home for the aged. Tasks: Coordinate the movement of patients through the health care system. Employ creative problem solving to identify opportunities for process improvement in bed assignment, transfer, patient flow and resource utilization. Ensure that appropriate administrative procedures are followed. Ensure that quality nursing care is provided to patients. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment . Assist in the establishment of unit policies and procedures. Set up and co-ordinate nursing services in conjunction with other health services. Supervision: More than 20 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Area of specialization: Geriatrics. Security and safety: Adult Abuse Registry check. Bondable. Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Immunization records. Tuberculosis test. Vulnerable sector check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
