We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and demonstrate proficiency in using both hand and power tools. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition following accidents or damage, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
*Duties*
* Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform bodywork, including welding, sanding, and painting.
* Replace or repair damaged parts such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
* Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve timely project completion.
* Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies.
*Qualifications*
* 3+ years experience- Red Seal, Valid drivers license, Up to date I-Car (gold) or (platinum) with up to date welding certificates (Steel &/or Aluminum)
* Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues.
* Familiarity with dealership processes is a plus.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
