Greer Ltd., a leading manufacturer and distributor of cleaning products, equipment, and supplies, requires a great customer service "Territory Sales Representative" (TSR). If you value teamwork and a passion for business development, sales and customer service, this may be a position for you.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for growing the territory and meeting existing customer needs through analyzing purchase patterns and recommending additional products or services to new and existing customers. In addition to these responsibilities (but not limited to):</p><ul><li>Works with chemical, equipment, and janitorial suppliers and their sales reps in the sales field to generate sales.</li><li>Make a minimum of 10 face-to-face calls with customers and prospects (minimum 2 prospect calls per day).</li><li>Prospect, qualify, present and close new business.</li><li>Maintain and grow existing accounts by presenting new products to decision makers.</li><li>Educates, demonstrates, trains and close deals on W.E. Greer chemicals, products, services, and Tennant equipment.</li><li>Work with vendor representatives, Sales Manager, inside sales, marketing and service to grow sales.</li><li>Leverage company's CRM system to capture information utilize the information to increase competitive advantage.</li><li>Use phone, email and online marketing techniques to generate leads and convert to sales.</li><li>Quote products, run reports and provide data to customers utilizing ERP system.</li><li>Works with Strategic Customers in the territory. This may include surveying new facilities and making solution recommendations to grow Strategic Customers through face-to-face interaction with site managers, purchasing, and business owners.</li><li>Provide value-added services to existing and prospective customers such as product training, safety training, consumption reporting & product recommendations.</li><li>Installs sold equipment through on-site training with customers.</li><li>Manage conflict and day-to-day customer issues in the assigned territory.</li><li>Continually present our solutions to the customer base, maintaining existing customer base.</li><li>Executes sales strategy in the assigned geography as directed by the Sales Manager.</li><li>Implement and build success with W.E. Greer marketing plan & specials</li><li>Consistently present a professional image, both in personal appearance and condition of company assets</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills </strong></p><ul><li>Two or more years in a similar environment.</li><li>Ability to sell and demonstrate drive in gaining new business and new customers.</li><li>Solid business acumen, and knowledge of the sales process; track record of sales success.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and ability to learn company's ERP and CRM systems.</li><li>Ability to learn and understand product applications.</li><li>Exceptional organization and prioritization skills along with strong negotiating skills.</li><li>Proficient at interacting with people at all levels of an organization.</li><li>Must meet physical requirements of the position including ability to hook up trailer and load demonstration gear.</li><li>Ability to "think" on your feet and make value added decisions with minimal direction.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation ($50k/year to 120k/year) and Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive draw against commission ranging from $48k/year to $60k/year with a six month's guaranteed draw amount commensurate with experience.</li><li>40% commission on gross margin on new business accounts acquired for the first 24 months, then commission on those acquired accounts:</li></ul><p>a.) 30% for months 25 to 36</p><p>b.) 20% for months 37 to 48</p><p>c.) 10% after 48 months</p><ul><li>5% commission on gross margin on Legacy/existing business ac
