Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Tasks: Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed. Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks or heavy equipment. Grease booms, pulleys, buckets and other components of heavy equipment. Repair and balance tires. Replace oil, air and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for newcomers and refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.).- LocationCalgary, ABT2C 2B3
