*Job Description* As the world?s leading provider of ?green? Phyton?s cGMP certified facility in Canada specializes in the purification and chemical conversion of natural active ingredients, improving the quality of life for patients and consumers while respecting our environment. Our site has the capacity to meet more than ? of global demand for paclitaxel and docetaxel, commonly used active pharmaceutical ingredients (API?s) in chemotherapy medications. Phyton Biotech is adding to its Manufacturing & Operations Department. This team supports the manufacturing of Phyton Biotech?s API?s and Intermediates at development and commercial scale which meet cGMP and Phyton?s quality and safety requirements, while being flexible with supporting manufacturing schedules/shifts. *What You'll Do* As a Manufacturing Technician, you?ll be a key part of our production team helping create high-quality pharmaceutical ingredients. A typical day may include: * Safely operating equipment such as reactors, pumps, storage tanks, and chromatography columns * Disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling equipment to prepare for the next production run * Assisting with equipment inspections, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting * Keeping accurate records by completing forms, logbooks, and batch documents in line with cGMP standards * Collaborating with team members and proposing improvements to streamline our processes *Who You Are* We?d love to hear from you if: * You?re dependable, safety-conscious, and take pride in doing things the right way * You enjoy learning on the job and contributing to a team * You can stay organized and focused, even when things get busy * You?re comfortable following detailed procedures and asking questions when needed * You like working with your hands and solving practical problems *Qualifications & Experience:* * A diploma, certificate, or degree in a technical, science, or trades-related field (e.g., biotechnology, chemical technology, engineering, etc.) * 1?2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or industrial setting * Experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, food, nutraceutical, etc.) is an asset, but not required * Familiarity with ERP or quality systems is a plus, but we?ll train the right person This role is a permanent, full-time position that includes a competitive salary and benefit program.
